so recently i got ahold of adobe priemere pro, which is really exciting cause now i can make some good amvs. the problem is its really confusing! i've figured a few things out, but does anyone know good tutorials for it? anything to do with the program is good, im open to anything you throw at me.
also, it doesnt seem to be accepting .mp3 files, any idea to what thats about?

Hehe, I literally was about to post the exact same thing! I just got it, and am very pleased to find a good (and professional) alternative for Movie Maker. I haven't really tried anything yet, but would love to hear about a site that could explain everything!

well, i've used sony vegas 8 and I find tutorials on youtube all the time that really help. And they are even better, cause they are video tutorials xD

Vegas 8 mostly has better tutorials, and it's easier to use. Premier is a bit harder, but they are almost the same.
File formats seem to be a problem in Premier too, which is a worry D:
