note, scanlines will be different, depending on what you use.

1: start new document, but instead of Choosing color, use BLACK AND WHITE. THIS IS IMPORTANT.

2: If done correctly, your color selection should look like this.

3: now, alter your dimensions to what you want, then choose whichever color you want, and floodfill!

4: use the opaque option when applying to an image, and wala! easy scanline!

like I said, I choosed a random one. yours will wind up different. on the other hand, I made a really cool BG out of this tech.
