I don't get it, why quit???? even if you lose you still get prizes and however many neopoints u've collected. So unless your comp freezes or you have to leave for a personal reason why quit?

A few people don't like getting silver or less. It's the equivalent of losing a game.

To me, it's because it is being shown to everyone rather than an arbitrary thing.

In other words, some people tend to be sore losers, regardless of how much they earned in game.

I wouldn't say sore per say, it isn't like Key Quest is 100% fair.

For the same reason a child flips the game board over whenever they realize they can't win.

What everyone else said is pretty much the most simple answer to give. People hate losing.

I mean, there is the chance of people's computers giving on them last second, but chances are you'll never know if that's the reason.

Personally, I don't really think it has to do with having a little perfect record. *looks at User221* We aren't going to start that argument again, are we?

I don't think people want to be perfect, but people simply don't want to be tagged as a newbie. They don't care if they have only lead keys, but other experienced players that like playing with experienced players will care, and think they don't know how to play very well, when they may have just one them because they like playing two-player.

Again, that's just my personal opinion.

You'd be surprised what people do on other online games so you never know.

But don't think of it as a perfect record rather than trying to get as much greed since you can only unlock 10 doors a day.

Yeah, that also. But when I wanted to write that down, I ended up wording it way wrong, so I went to my other reason and wrote that one down.

And that, while a bit off tangent the reason why higher level pets did not fight in the Tale of Woe battle was because it was a no-win scenario...

I'm just pointing that out to help state my point.

Well there are many reasons to this

1.What everybody has been talking about so far (being losers)

2.Internet Connection probably goes down

3.Computer Errors (Shutdowns, Lags, Unexpected browser close)

4.They ran out of time (They might have to do something)

It wouldn't be surprising that many people don't have computers that meet the requirements to play Key Quest.

Although I did remember telling TNT that a "256MB video card" wasn't really a requirement due to testing and that Adobe Flash is software rendered until Flash 10.

I think some people just hate losing and they don't care how much time and effort they put in to get that far in game.

So that's why i am often multi-tasking (playing neoquest II insane or fighting with shadow wraiths) so that the time devoted was not totally wasted. /_\

Its because some people are poor sports. See, I'm an example of how, even when it looks like you're about to lose, you can win. Just a few minutes ago, I was in a losing game. However, I had just the right power-up to set my opponent back, and, through cunning brutality and brutal cunning, I won! And then I got nothing but vendor trash, which irked me, but KQ is 55% luck, 20% having a fast computer, 15% skill at games, 6% cunning use of power-ups, 3% hoping your opponent doesn't quite/gets disconnected, and 1% not getting lame prizes from the Vault.
