Welcome to the fifth sixth annual Altador Cup! While Neopians across the world choose their team to support, the players are busy practising, and waiting for none other than the cup to actually start! *cough* Anyway, as an AC Player, your job is to play Yooyuball against Neopian teams around Neopia. Along with it, yelling with the Techo Super Fan, helping the Slushie Slinger Waitress do her job, and shooting goals past the "Jelly" Chia Goalkeeper helps guarantee your team winning the cup. But before it begins, you're constantly practising, be it the non-existent Jelly World Team, or real Neopets. But sometimes they just can't keep out of trouble and will do anything to get there way. Between forbidden loves, rivals, and revenge from some of the now-fired players, be it this year or 5 years ago, there's never time to rest.

~All content MUST be nowhere past PG-13
~You can have a MAX of two AC Players (both on different teams At this point in the roleplay, you can have more than one player on the same team if they happen to be available), and ONE character who is important to the cup but not part of a team (MAYBE two if not many people join).
~~Wondering why some of us have four six characters? Well, as of this post, I allowed anyone who actively roleplayed prior to that post to have 3 AC players, and as of this post, 4 players as opposed to 2. If you decide to join anytime after both those posts, you can only have 2 AC players... because it'd be unfair to allow a new roleplayer to have those extra characters while all of us roleplayed for awhile to get to that point. ;) )
~Yes, I chose the perfect time to start the RP (right before actual sign-ups on Neo), so while I'd prefer you joined between now and the actual cup, I will still allow people to join as it progresses.
~Anyone can play NPCs, so if you are on the same team but are missing 3 team members, you can control them or any NPC that isn't already being used by others at the same time.
~I will allow you to couple AC players together! This means, if you want your character to be a love interest for another, you may do so! :D
Here's the catch: If the character you want coupled with your's is currently a NPC, then that is perfectly fine. However, if that character is being used by another user, you must discuss with them and come to an agreement whether or not one of your characters will act flirty/lovey-dovey with their other character.
~You may choose to be an AC player that is no longer a part of the cup if you wish.
~If you joined 'The Altador Cup V' last year, all your previous characters are reserved! However, you still may swap one of your last characters for a new one, or don't use them altogether. Because I approve laziness, simply notify me here if you wish to any of your characters from last year and I'll simply take your previous form and paste it into this year's character list. However, you must make a new form if you wish to use a different character.

Even though he lacks any sort of strength (to the point that he's often called 'Puny McPunyson' by his haters), he has a high intelligence to back himself up. Tends to have low self-esteem due to the abuse he suffered from his mother and sister… however, this doesn't seem to cause him to be at all afraid of his fiancee, Derlyn, who happens to be Tsundere for him.

Personality: Foltaggio, on occasions, can be a bit Cloudcuckoolanderish and quirky (which isn't surprising; he just so happens to be Mirsha's husband), but is otherwise a kind, hardworking guy; even if his hard work is never really 'good' enough to him. Although most people might even have a slight awkwardness to those who are 'different', 'unique', or anything that makes them an 'outcast', he could care less about anything like that about a person; all that matters to him is who they truly are. As of recent, possibly due to what may have been a bunch of Slumberberry Potion-spiked Slushies, he has a bad habit of falling asleep at almost pure random.

Personality: Most definitely not one of those prissy Royal pet stereotypes, Valka isn't afraid of a little action. She lives for it, in fact, and is an excellent strategist. She can be kind and energetic at times, but is easily angered and (despite her perceived toughness) has some confidence/self-esteem issues. She's a member of a multi-team Yooyuball alliance, so she is close to many players from other teams. She originally wasn't fond of Tandrak, but has moved on to disliking his cousin, Lyvon. Is in love with Layton, despite being just a trainee. Valka also has power over the sun; the source of her power caused her insane dark form, Kaine, to appear. Wants nothing more to wipe Kaine out of existence so that she can no longer be associated with the figure that nearly destroyed the future.

Other than that, she's kind and sweet, as well as being a fast runner and a great archer. Will probably be converted fairly quickly, and might serve as a sort of mentor to Valka.

On a random note, she is functionally illiterate due to severe Dyslexia. Strongly denies that she's evil despite that there is an entire universe who thinks she's evil and that she managed to shut down JNF recently. She, like Antola, seems to have some control over magic, as when she throws a heavy object, something odd usually happens.

As the Altadorian Collosseum, home to none other than the Altador Cup buzzes and bumbles with noise, an older Ixi, known as Al to the fans, sits at his station, holding a sheet of paper as he speaks through his microphone. "What a wonderful day here, as eagar Neopians await the beginning of the elusive, Altador Cup VI! Or six, if you don't like numerals shown as letters." Beside him was his Grarrl partner, Bill. "I agree, Al, it looks like we have more people in the Collosseum than any previous year!" Bill replies, grinning. "I'm sure that our very own competitors are preparing for the cup right this instance!"

Antola sat in his hotel room just feet away from the collosseum, folding his clothes, and listening to the Neovision across the room, set to a news channel. As he put his clothes away, he checked the small alarm clock on his dresser. 2:17 PM, it read. Perfect, now all I have to do go downstairs, get my equipment from Mirsha, and make my way to practice! Grinning, he made his last adjustment; wrapping his iconic red headband around his brown hair. Without bothering to check his mirror, he charged right through the door, and made his way downstairs, ignoring the Techo Super Fan yelling just a floor above him. Perhaps it was about Dasher retiring this year...

Prytariel was entering the colosseum when she bumped into a group of protestors. They were members of the PPL, and they believed that Yooyuball was petpet abuse. One of the protestors, a brown Uni, whacked Prytariel repeatedly with his sign. Annoyed, Prytariel hurried over to the hotel as fast as she could and locked herself in her hotel room.

Antola watched as Prytariel shut the door as he passed another floor. "Huh," he said, 'I guess Pry isn't in a good mood right now. I guess I'll leave her alone... for now." When he finally made it to the lobby, the rest of his team greated him with his equipment. "Anty, you finally came!" Xana smiled, handing him his equipment. He nodded back, placing his sling over his arm and looking to Mirsha for instructions. "Well... there's a bit of the problem. The PPL finally decided that Yooyuball was animal abuse and are rallying against it." Mirsha spoke sternly, watching the reactions of her teammates. They could do nothing but groan, Larcy facepalming in the process. "Well, this is just GREAT," Antola sighed.

Timu couldn't understand what all the comotion was about. As she stood in the collosseum's lobby, random Neopets in uniforms were yelling and running around with signs in their hands. She couldn't help but feel... disturbed. Beside her, 'Trapper', whose face was quickly turning red, and all her team were trying to make their arrangements, but failed to do so in all the noise. Suddenly, a voice on the PA system came on, exclaiming "We're sorry for the inconvenience, but it appears the PPL are attempting to shut us down. Please keep an eye out for insane, crazed PPL supporters!"

Prytariel watched the commotion outside from her window. The protestors were carrying loudspeakers and she could hear them from her seventh floor hotel room. This annoyed her greatly, so she turned on the radio in an attempt to drown out the noise. A song by Wock Till You Drop was playing, and she really, really hated Wock Till You Drop. This made her even angrier, so she decided to find some of her fellow Yooyuball players and (hopefully) cool off a bit.

Barit had just finished packing out all his stuff in a lake pond near the Colosseum, which he always rented during the AC season. After a bit of stretching, he went out of the water and on his way to the Colosseum, sling in hand, squeezing through the hordes of Neopets trying to get past the guards at the entrance. Most of the Neopets seemed to be in uniform, and some had picket signs. "I wonder who the heck these people are..."

Kep relaxed in the Team DC common room in the Colosseum. It was only afternoon, but she was absolutely stressed after practicing all day and being bombarded by the media. (and some of Tandrak's insane fangirls)

And then were the PPL protesters. She had been playing with a Yooyu earlier, just practicing with it like a paddleball when suddenly some folks started marching up to her and arguing- trying to take the Yooyu away, threatening to sue her, a bunch of junk. She was in a foul mood and needed to get away from all the commotion...

Al groaned. It was no wonder why there were so many Neopians! A lot of them were here just to shut them down! But... why didn't they try this five years ago? "Bill... where's the Cup Commitee when we need them?" He asked, his head down on his desk. "Oh, if only I had something to relieve this horrible headache...!"

"Ah, sick of the comotion, eh?" The Slushie Slinging Tuskaninny, as most people called her, stood behind her counter, waiting. "I know the drill; Chokato Slushie, and you can just hang here for a bit, until all the PPLers get out... if they get out!" Shyly, Timu smiled. The Tuskaninny seemed to like her; maybe it was her patience and silentness, but they seemed to get along well. "Thank you, thank you very much..."

Prytariel was wandering around the colosseum when she saw Timu, with a Chokato slushie in her hand. "I think I'll get a slushie," she mused. She walked over to the slushie counter and requested a Jumbleberry slushie. However, they were out of Jumbleberry slushies, so the Tuskaninny gave her a Chokato one instead. Prytariel took a sip of her slushie, but it was warm; which didn't help her mood one bit. Can this day get any worse? she thought.
