Someone on the boards said that on the 24th TNT is giving out Christmas Draik eggs in the Advent Calendar to further help with inflation. Ok, that sounds a bit farfetched to me, but with what they're doing with the Krawken and Foregotton shore could there be some sort of merrit behind this? I know in previous years they let out x amount of a gift for x amount of a time and then something totally different for the rest of the day. Would this be what could happen?

I am pretty sure it's just a rumor. Unless the person saying it is in TNT, don't believe them. The Draik Eggs aren't on the Krawken, or better known as Anchor Management. Draiks are still known as rare pets, very rare, so TNT won't just hand out the Draik. Because then a lot of Neopians will get it on a side account.

I am pretty that's not gonna happen because the economy would just totally turn upside-down. They did that Krawk thing with the Forgotten Shore but if you compare how many Krawk MP are handled out with the shore with how many Draik Eggs would be gotten by the advent, the shore number would be totally insignificant...

The neopian economy would be blown to bits should this happen. I mean, it's a simple thing. So many people want Draiks, and to hand out one of them to every single user on the site sounds like a recipe for disaster. I can see people purposely abusing this on their side accounts as well, and that would further complicate things.

Yes, TNT has put out Christmas Paint Brushes on ocassion from the Calendar, but a Draik Egg? There's no way they couldn't have thought this through and not have seen the consequences.

Well I think it'll just make draiks not that interesting of a pet to a lot of people but to some people such as myself I never thought a Draik or Krawk was interesting in the first place.

I agree Fionn. All though I do adore krawks because I love alligators, draiks just bug me for some reason. I love dragons, but draiks are just too fruity for me XD Also I have a bit of animosity towards them since my sudden urge and obsession to get one last year cost me my main account of 8 years. So I think if I do get an egg my pirate lupe will be EATING it since he does gourmets ;)

I'm also thinking it's a rumor, unless it's something like the Dream Neopet Giveaway or the lab map, where a certain number of lucky individuals get randomly chosen to win the Draik Egg. Otherwise, I don't see it happening.
