Maybe start a forum area making all the older topics, even from years ago, still viewable? I've seen this done on a number of websites.

That's kind've old important stuff, I mean like, old topis in the general discussion, or old graphic stands, old roleplays....

old roleplays have been purged. General chat topics you can just go to the last page of topics and read them.

What about the Homework Help section? I know it existed because Dave mentioned it here.

I'll take a guess that he deleted it xP it wasn't used, and you could put those topics in General chat.

All forum topics that haven't been deleted are still viewable. If you can't see something, it's because we've deleted it. (The one exception, of course, being the staff chat.)

In general, since our database is much happier, we delete older topics in forum games, roleplay, and random blah. Plot/event topics head to the archive at the bottom of the forum. And everything, 99.9% of the time, just stays where it is.

You'll notice that the oldest topics in Neopets General Chat go back to January 28, 2006ish, which is about when the forums opened. There simply isn't anything older to show. :P
