Hello all, just had a quick question. I saw an article a fellow player created which provided an in-depth description on how to get limited edition pets. It specifically discussed Krawks and Draiks, and at one point it says quote, "Users whose accounts are under 4 months old cannot adopt a draik or krawk either through the pound or transfer ability." Thus I was wondering if this is also true for creating entirely new limited edition pets through the Create Neopet option rather than acquiring one through trade or adoption. My plans for my two side accounts are to create a Lutari and Hissi (hopefully), one for each, but they are not yet 4 months old. Is this possible, or are there any known limitations?

Accounts under 4 months are limited in what coloured pets they can adopt from the pound; they may only adopt blue, brown, checkered, glowing, green, invisible, orange, pink, purple, red, shadow, silver, skunk, speckled, split, white and yellow. They also can't adopt any pet above level 2, or any limited edition/restricted pets (with the exception of Grundos).

The 4 month rule is only for adopting and transferring; it's just fine for new accounts to create LE/restricted pets normally or use morphing potions. Keep in mind that Lutari run away and disappear when abandoned or transferred.

Thank you Clouds! I was a bit worried about this, but I'm glad my assumption was proved wrong. ^_^ I did know that an abandoned or attempted transfer Lutari will disappear, but I didn't plan on transferring one anyway. :) Since the topic is settled, feel free to close and thanks again.
