Hmmm... Well, I I know I'm not an expert at this, but for items with names that you are unsure of whether they were released or not, couldn't you just enter the names into the shop wizard, and if the name is displayed on top (whether there are search results or not) then it exists, but if it only shows "..." then it doesn't?

I hope this is a ok place to ask but I am interested in helping but I do not know how... I know how to find the item ID's but how do I find out whether an item is out yet? I want to help but it is confusing... Can you tell me what needs to be done in order to find the items to ID them? Thank you! :)

If the item becomes searchable in the shop wizard, and/or you see it in trades but we still list the item as MIA, you can send in a report about the item by clicking the Report Error button located at the bottom of an items page.

Simply check the MIA list and...

1) Try searching for various items by item keywords
2) Try checking "likely newsdates" to find released MIA items (try going from the last newsdates they released items from and then checking the nearest newspost dates with MIAs still in them); You can check http://www.neopets.c...zaphod4#idbnews to see the latest MIA release dates, but it's currently not up to date with the latest releases
3) Check http://www.neopets.c...html?start=2241 for new petpet releases
4) Other ways
5) get lucky :P

Just an FYI, our main Item Mistress is on vacation. (She was out last week and will be out this week, too.) We have other people who release items but anything missing from these two weeks can be attributed to her absence and will be remedied when she returns... once she's caught up on email and such. So don't be afraid if the list starts to grow. We didn't forget. :P

Anyway, I think some of those old MIAs were done by artists and uploaded/announced by mistake. Tyrannian Rock, for instance, should never have happened. And I know for a fact the Petpet Morphing Potions are intentionally unreleased. So, once the newer items are off the list, I'll look at the rest to see if I can tell what's what. *nod*
